Free of British (3-2)

There are many reasons the american colonist wanted to be free. One of the reasons they wanted to be free was because of the taxes king george was putting on them. One of these taxes was the quartering act. The quartering act was a law passed that required that colonies house an supply for the british soldiers. Another law passed was the sugar act, this was a law passed that put taxes on any sugar, molasses and any other thing shipped to the colonies. The last act passed was the stamp act, which was  a law that required all legal and commercial documents to have an official stamp proving that the tax had been paid.

Another reason the colonist wanted to be free was the felt like they had no say in anything.
